Self Care is about taking time to do the things you enjoy doing and give yourself some dedicated time to 'nurture your mind, body and soul.
When it comes to mental health Self-care has been clinically proven to help reduce and eliminate anxiety, reduce stress, minimise frustration and anger, while increasing energy, happiness and improves concentration.....
Self-care also helps with self-esteem and leads to better relationships and the relationship with yourself.
A safe and supportive environment for all the girls.
GIRLS EMPOWERING GIRLS is a key focus on our day.
The workshop includes:
* The 7 Pillars to Self-care
* Group discussions
* METIME and the importance of it for our MIND, BODY & CONNECTION
* Making natural face masks & scrubs - DIY application
* Hair cut (trim & texture) by me (I gained my National Higher Certificate in hairdressing & PGCE (Teaching Cetificate) in the UK. I worked as a Style Director & Educator at Andrew Collinge, Liverpool.
* DIY- the girls can blow dry/curl/straighten their own hair or her bestie can assist/support her.
* There will be creative time & Free time to do the things that excite & inspire.
Please ensure to bring a favourite thing to do, read a book, games etc. We will have creative, relaxing and mindful activites available too.
Learning to embrace our differences and appreciate the wonderful, powerful and uniqueness of us all.
It will build a foundation of health and she will be better able to cope with the challenges in everyday life.
